First off, why does my eyes look so creepy?  Freaky (in the baby voice from the StateFarm commercial)!  Ok, back to the previously scheduled program.....

When I rewet my hair to obtain this look, I used water.  As I previously posted, I've changed my ingredients for the mixture from water to aloe vera juice.  Aloe vera juice & gel has ph balancer ingredients also.  In the past, I used Aphoghee balancer but I the AVJ works better.  If you compare this picture to my flat twist pic, you can see the difference in my roots.  I'll be posting those pictures when I take my twists out.
